  • I have the great good fortune of living in an area of high peaks and wide open fields and valleys. Many of my old friends are buried in green pastures, but the majority of them have been cremated and reside, in part, in their little, ornate wooden boxes.

  • The only TRULY "inherently dangerous" species on this planet is the "human," and yet we allow all MANNER of psychos to continue running around! I have a rescued Pit, and she is an absolute love, terrified of my 12 pound terrier mix, adores people even after the abuse she suffered, and wouldn't hurt …

  • I, too, survived a nasty bout with bacterial meningitis. Spent a week in ICU, then several weeks in the hospital, followed by 3 months off work because of an incapacitating dizziness.
